
This was the kids’ special present for Christmas 2010, from Santa of course. I bought it not to treat them with candy, but to teach them the value of money. In this case $0.25. I want my kids to grow up understanding that money doesn’t grow on trees and to value the effort that goes into earning money, as well as the true value of what they spend their money on. So far, I’d say it’s working. That’s a good thing. We have too many spoiled kids and we don’t need another Paris Hilton.

As someone who worked with M&M Mars on one of their earliest versions of the personalized M&M e-commerce platform, I’m really impressed with the evolution. The avatar above is cool, but avatars aren’t exactly new news. What is new news is your ability to put this photo on actual M&Ms. That my friends is personalization. And, yes I just spent $40.00 for 21oz of personalized Cora M&Ms.
